The Institute of Informatics and Development (IID) is a not-for-profit, nonpartisan think tank that undertakes research on development informatics and policy development in the areas of policy intermediary and development.

IID explores the various dimensions and prospects of policy informatics on public policy and promotes integration of information and communication technology in the policy making process. IID’s research interests include e-governance, inclusive economic growth and socio-economic development. It also promotes informed policy discourse among the makers and shakers of public policy.
